The statement_descriptor parameter is not supported for the payment_method_type card. To continue supporting payment_method_type card, please pass in statement_descriptor_suffix or remove the statement_descriptor parameter altogether. I got it working on both phone & desktop now. What I did should not have worked but it did. I duplicated the form and substituted its short code in my webpage. Then it worked. After 30 years as a software developer in IT, I knew to try everything. Perhaps you know why duplicating the form resolved all the errors. Thank you for your support. I will mark this resolved.
