PayPal-Button greyed out after removing payment method

Today, I excluded the payment method “Giropay” from the button settings (Standard Payments / Disable Alternative Payment Methods), saved, and then my button changed to grey and does not work anymore: <div id="ppc-button-ppcp-gateway" class="ppcp-disabled">.

I didn’t change anything else, all settings in “Connection” are okay, no error logs. Turning plugins/settings on and off again didn’t help either.

Disabling/Flushing caching didn’t help either.

Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be?
