Thanks for your message. Vik Booking follows the OpenTravel Standards in terms of pricing models supported. More precisely, what you’re looking for is the so called “OBP” Pricing Model (Occupancy Based Pricing).
For every room-type in Vik Booking you are supposed to specify the base rental costs for each rate plan (“type of price”), and then, at room-level, you can define the various OBP Offsets for any combination of adults occupancy. For example, you could offer a “solo-rate” discount for 1-adult occupancy, or you could define a charge for the occupancy of 3 adults. Such rules can be applied as fixed or percent amounts, and in case of fixed offsets (the most common ones), you can choose if the amounts are per-stay or per-night. This is how you set up the OBP Offsets in Vik Booking to charge a per-person nightly rate, and eventually Vik Channel Manager would transmit the same children rates to channels like Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, Google Hotel etc.. This would require to have an active subscription for our E4jConnect Channel Manager service.
That said, for offering a separate package that would ignore the OBP rules defined at room-level, you could not use a dedicated Rate Plan (type of price), or the same charges/discounts for the adults occupancy would be applied. In this case, you should use the “Packages/Offers” feature available in the Pro/commercial version of the plugin that allows you to define a fixed cost per night regardless of the occupancy thanks to the various settings. Just for your information, the Channel Manager would not be able to offer such packages to the various channels connected, and such offers could not be set up on the various OTAs through derived rate plans either. This is something you would have only on your website with Vik Booking.
