Fortunately the other photos – not owned by the current user – can not be edited or deleted by him.
Will be fixed in the next version. If this is very important for you, you can – tyemporarely – disable update commandline in Advanced settings -> System -> I -> Item 4: Update addressline
The fix was so simple that i hotfixed it in the current version. So, download https://downloads.projectdmc.org/plugin/wp-photo-album-plus.8.7.04.005.zip and Add New Plugin -> Upload Plugin -> Replace current
