I’ve shared this issue with 2 developers and 2 support reps, and we haven’t been able to found a solution yet…
Issue:
I’m editing a page in Gutenberg, and one field is for video embed code. When I enter the code, save changes, and view the page, there’s no video. When I go back into the editor, the video embed code is gone entirely.
Here’s what we know/have tried already:
1) No one can recreate the issue, so it appears to be local to me somehow. I am a remote worker.
2) Colleagues are on the same VPN, and can make the edit.
3) I’ve emptied cache and done a hard reset.
4) I’ve cleared all site data and third-party cookies.
5) I’ve reset my router/modem and waited 20 minutes.
6) I’ve restarted my computer.
7) I’ve had a new user profile created, and the issue persists.
8) I’ve tried being hardwired instead of using WiFi.
9) I’ve tried in different browsers.
This issue started yesterday, and has never happened to me before. I have not added any plugins or browser extensions. I did a recent-ish chrome update, but again, the issue presists in other browsers so that can’t be the problem.
Any help and recommendations on how to fix would be greatly appreciated!
