Hi everyone,
as the title suggests, I need some info on updating PHP.
In cPanel I get the following warning:
“An outdated PHP version has been detected. The PHP version used by this site has passed EOL and is no longer supported by the PHP team. Using outdated PHP versions poses a security risk to your site. Update your PHP version to ensure the security of your site.”
The characteristics of my installation are as follows:
– WP version 6.1.1
– PHP version 7.4.33
– Ocean WP as a theme
I wanted to know if by upgrading PHP to version 8.1 I would encounter problems with the site malfunctioning.
