On the main main of my blog, I have a section to display recent posts. At the top of that section I have the category buttons, so visitors can narrow down my posts accordingly. Most of the categories work properly. However, two of them only display a couple of posts, although there are definitely at least 6 posts within each of those categories. I have no idea why this is happening nor how to fix it.

Double check the status of those posts. And double check your category names, maybe you have a duplicate.
Another thing could be cache.
