Please help! WordPress site “unreachable”

[ad_1]

My site is currently under construction. I was working on it, just going through my different pages, when suddenly it stopped loading. I keep getting the “This site can’t be reached” error – tried on my phone on mobile network and same thing. I checked on downforeveryoneorjustme and it seems the site is suddenly down for everyone. It was literally working one second and stopped loading the next.

The only change I made today was installing a new plugin called Formidable (a plug in to create forms). It was working great, I created my form and added it to the relevant page just fine. This is so random and I can’t even get into the backend to troubleshoot anything, including plugins although I don’t think it’s that as just yesterday I removed unnecessary plugins and media etc and updated all plugins.

Please help??? I have no idea what the issue could be.

  1. Seems like dns / hosting issue. I would check and make sure everything is still setup correctly

  2. Can you access anything from your hosting platform back-end?

You can rename all of your plugins’ folders to pluginname-bak to disable them one at a time and see if you can identify a break.

Also, you can look at webserver logfiles to see if there is a useful error being recorded to give you some direction.
