i recently discovered plesk and openlitespeed and began to use both for two different projects.
previously had been using a LEMP stack for my blog.
im considering moving away from the LEMP stack, plesk for easy of admin, OLS for speed…
based on some testing i’ve been doing with wp benchmark plugin and gtmetrix i’m leaning toward OLS which is showing significant improvements in speed.
i was testing identical copies of the site (duplicated with wp staging – same everything on the site, plugins, themes etc)
based on my research, i didnt expect that the performance difference is that significant? OLS is almost 500-1000% faster in some cases…
most people say nginx and OLS are more or less equivalent when configured correctly, so thinking maybe my nginx server isnt configured right.
what do you think?
