Just curious if it is normal after you bring WordPress from local to live on a hosting server to have issues with plugins crashing the site and some themes. If I rename the theme or plugin folder and then deactivate/remove the source the site loads. This is my first local to live and maybe missing a detail

What is the exact PHP critical error when your site crashes?
One problem I sometimes have when moving sites is that the old site has PHP 7.4, but the new site runs on PHP 8.x and a plugin or theme is using outdated PHP code.
But the best place to look for clues is in the server’s error logs
