it’s the members directory on one of my sites. You can’t without being logged in and are redirected to the login page.
note the plugin does not protect the activation and registration pages
note my review of the code indicates there is an error in the plugin around site maps showing the buddyoress components (since buddypress changed to custom post types for compenents). I’ll be pushing out a fix for that shortly but that is not your issue

I have now tested it again on our pages, the plugin does exactly what it says in the description, it protects the members area. With the plugin ‘Private Buddypress’ by Dennis Morhardt, all pages could be protected, including the start page, so that the login page was generally linked to. I assumed that this was also possible with LH Private BuddyPress. Sorry for the inconvenience, I should of course have realised.
