Can someone please tell me WHY the latest update of this plugin has been set to have the required PHP version at 8.0?
Considering that PHP 8.x isn’t fully compatible with WordPress, I Don’t think this is a good decision at all, this basically means this plugin cannot be updated (particularly in my case).
I don’t run any sites on PHP 8 because as stated by WordPress here (https://make.projectdmc.org/core/handbook/references/php-compatibility-and-wordpress-versions/), it’s not yet fully compatible.
It’s my strong opinion that this should be changed, so the plugin can be updated on 7.4 and above. Even WordPress state the recommend version if 7.4 or higher (https://projectdmc.org/about/requirements/)
