clear the Autoptimize cache (and any page cache you and your host might have) and to avoid this happens again reconfigure AO to not aggregate inline CSS and JS.

hope this helps,
frank

please tell me where this setting is located so that it does not aggregate CSS and JS? What specifically needs to be disabled in the settings?

sure;

1. go to Settings -> Autoptimize -> JS, CSS & HTML
2. disable “also aggregate inline JS”
3. disable “also aggregate inline CSS”
4. click on “save and clear cache”
5. clear any page cache(s) you might have

have a nice day 🙂
frank

does disabling affect download speed?

Aggregate JS files? — not noted
included: Do not aggregate but defer? and Also defer inline JS?
in CSS option: Aggregate CSS-files? and Also aggregate inline CSS?
Should I turn all this off

in that case disable “also aggregate inline CSS”, that should do it 🙂

does disabling affect download speed?

if you have huge amounts of inline CSS the HTML will be “lumpier”, so not aggregating that could impact performance a bit yes. on the other hand; if you cache grows quickly this is an indication of other more important issues, so not aggregating inline CSS might be the better choice if you have cache size problems.

you’re welcome, feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! 🙂
