Plugins or Tools that allow admins to track the length of time a visitor views a website?

At work, we currently use products like Visual Visitor and Dealfront to tell us what companies view our site and how long they are on our site. Unfortunately, sometimes the length of time doesn’t appear.

We recently installed the User Activity Tracking and Log plugin ([https://wordpress.com/plugins/user-activity-tracking-and-log]). It has helped find some of the missing site visits. However, my higher ups would like to find more.

I realize that might not be possible. I discovered with the plugin that if a user goes to a page and closes the browser directly, no time is recorded. However, the time is recorded if they go to a different page, close a tab(as long as there is another tab open), or they type in a site in the address bar and go to it.

Does anyone have any plugin suggestions or how to figure out why the plugin and tools aren’t tracking time visited on a site?
