In GamiPress the minimum number of points is 0, the balance will never be negative. As for displaying the insufficient points message, it is normally displayed on the buttons to unlock achievements or ranks with points. The GamiPress Button add-on simply allows you to award or deduct points, anyway thanks for your suggestion, we will take it into account for future updates.
