This post may seem vague, but it's to avoid being identified.
I have a client that runs posts and pages in "series" – i.e. they'll have maybe 3 pages and 10 posts on a particular topic, and then they'll run another collection.
Sometimes, these collections may overlap in terms of dates.
Ideally, I want a way that they can be organised in the admin dashboard only. Site visitors don't need to see this sorting, as they're collated together on the front end anyway.
What would you recommend?
Ideally, I'd like to use the built-in tag system – i.e. all in Topic 1 get tagged "Topic 1" – but how does that affect the site visitor experience? Can we disable a search for "Topic 1"? Remove the tag functionality from the front page?
Or is there a plugin that would allow us to group these items together?
From an administrative background, it's a nightmare… I just want a way to make this tidier.
