Possible to track visitors that aren’t followers?

[ad_1]

I’m wondering if it’s possible to see the IP addresses visiting my WordPress page?

I’m a free user but will upgrade if needed. I don’t care about the random visitors, but looking to see if there are particular people looking.

My page isn’t visited often and I had to change the web address after I found out somebody was looking at it that shouldn’t have been. So before I do it again, I want to see if that’s the case.

No platform is going to allow you to use it spy on people like that, irrespective of whatever contrived justification you may have.

This isn’t really a thing you can do. An IP address doesn’t tell you who a particular person is.

That said, it doesn’t really matter because [WordPress.com]) (or any platform) is unlikely to give you that information simply due to the privacy issues it would create.

These are the basic stats that come with [WordPress.com]): [https://wordpress.com/support/stats/])

There is a basic map showing what country site visitors are coming from. But that is as specific as it gets.

If you have a [WordPress.com Business plan]), you can install Google Analytics or another similar plugin and get a bit more info from that interface.
