Hi okay so essentially I noticed a while ago that for some reason pages of my website had been like, duplicated and then redirected to the same webpage, but with a trailing slash. So instead of [https://byericarae.com]) its now [https://byericarae.com](https://byericarae.com)/
Also, it seems to be duplicating certain pages and then putting them in the subdirectory over and over again if that makes sense? If you look at the screenshots you’ll see what I mean.
I also noticed that there is a admin user that I cannot see, because it says there are two, but I have never made another admin account, and I can’t see this other one in settings anywhere.
But this isn’t even the only thing – for sure it seems like there are just some sketchy files that probably shouldn’t be there but I have no idea which ones should and which ones shouldn’t.. I have installed the anti-malware from [GOTMLS.NET]) plugin, and last time I ran it, it didn’t seem to find anything, but it also skipped a ton of files randomly, so I don’t know.
I probably should’ve prefaced this with the fact that I definitely downloaded a premium version of a plugin from some random website that probably for sure had malware in it. I have gotten rid of the plugin, but I am guessing that there is still stuff messed up.. Anyways. I had some dude on Fiverr also tell me that nope, there’s nothing wrong, but I just don’t really believe him because like, it makes no sense. So I am basically looking for some confirmation here that there definitely is still an issue, cause I feel like there is. And also wondering how I even go about fixing something like this, do I just have to start all over again? Hopefully not. But it seems like there’s a lot of files that might have been changed.
Also when I look in my Hostinger admin to see the access logs, there are 367 requests that are ” POST /wp-login.php HTTP/1.1 ” in just the last 7 days. From like, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Singapore, Taiwan, Russia etc. Is this just bots doing that? Or what would that be from even?
Sorry for the multitude of questions that are probably stupid but I just want to find out wtf is going on here, or if I am just losing it.
