Post Manager Plugin?

Hello –

Relatively new to WP but am struggling with managing large numbers of posts. The build in WP tools seem a little inaddicuate or, quite likely, I just haven’t leaned enough about them. So I’m asking for:

1 – what learning resources did you find useful for post management?

or

2 – Is there a kick ass plug in that makes post management easier?
