Privacy issue with Jetpack notifications – available on all WordPress sites

[ad_1]

Hi there! I just noticed a big privacy issue with Jetpack notifications. I have an account on WordPress.com connected to Jetpack that i use to manage several websites. I always create an account on the website and i connect it to Jetpack so that i can manage them all using one account.

However i recently noticed that Jetpack notifications that appear on the right admin bar, next to the account name, shows notifications for all the websites i manage! This is Ok when i’m using my account, but they shouldn’t be available when using other accounts like Shop Manager!

So the issue is when i connect my Jetpack account to the websites, they all get the notifications from my account, showing notifications from all the websites i manage, even if using other account on the website!

EDIT: I just created a WordPress.com account and associated it to the website user (Shop Manager) and my notifications stopped appearing, showing only the current user notifications, even in my account, it only shows notifications for the connected user account (Shop Manager). However this doesn’t solve the issue, because not all websites have own user accounts connected to WordPress.com…

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance
