I’ve been extremely happy with the free version and decided to upgrade to the pro version this morning. However… It will not install.
I’ve followed the instructions, downloaded the zip file, uploaded it via the plugins page. “Add new” > “Upload plugin” then I choose the zip file, click “Install now” and it tells me the directory already exists and to go back to the plugins page, never giving the “Activate plugin” button.
Next I tried via the AIOSEO dashboard, going to “General Settings” where it tells me I’m using the free version and if I’ve already purchased the pro version to paste my license key.
I paste my license key, click “Connect” and all it does is take me to the page giving me instructions on how to DL and install the zip folder.
It simply will not install, or even acknowledge, that I have the pro version. The AIOSEO dashboard just keeps asking me to upgrade to pro, even though I have it.
I’ve cleared cache and cookies on my browser. I’ve done a full purge via my wordpress site… all to no avail.
