Hi!
I have made a dropdown menu on the top bar of my experimental website. I added a test product, tagged and categorized it, however, I am not finding it in the category when chosen from the dropdown menu nor when I type its tag into the search bar; and only when I search the given product’s name itself. Any ideas?
My guessing is that it is related to backend structure.

Products do not show up in menus, nor are they searchable by tag using the default search. However, there are specific plugins to allow product taxonomy in the search function. You can also use the a function to all taxonomies in the Product Search Widget:
