What you’re experiencing is actually correct. The off canvas menu can also be enabled for desktop views (in Blocksy Pro) and has deeper implications than just showing up when you expand the view.
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to remove it when it is not used, as it would break other things in the process. The menu is handled by more code behind the scenes than just CSS, which makes reworking this a bit difficult.
Again, I’m really sorry, but there’s no immediate solution to this. That’s how the system works for now.
