I have a problem with recurring donations on card payments. I think it’s not a problem with Give WP, but honestly, I’m desperate and don’t know who to consult anymore. I would be eternally grateful if you could guide me.
When a subscription is made, the first payment enters correctly. But renewals are cancelled with the ‘Ds_Response 180’ error. This means that the bank does not approve the operation, apparently. The bank’s technical support says it happens because of a card’s security protocol and the user must validate the payment manually on each renewal. Obviously, this validation is not necessary in a normal subscription process, so I don’t understand where the problem lies 🙁
This happens in all card subscriptions, with different banks and in the payment of different amounts.
And the gateway (Redsys) support basically said they won’t help me in any way because it’s not their fault (I know it’s not your fault either, but please help?).
Any ideas?
