Problem with system mail going to junk / spam. Outlook cannot verify identity of sender.

[ad_1]

Various system emails are hitting spam folders. Support forms in CF7 as well as WooCommerce order notifications etc. Emails are sent from department addresses like “[email protected]” or “[email protected]” but they all go to spam folder with the “cannot verify identity.”

I have spoken with Microsoft and my hosting provider. DNS records seem to be set up correctly. SPF and DKIM authentication look to be set up and functioning correctly. This error only occurs when the website is sending the email. If I send an email from “[email protected]” to my personal email or something I don’t have any issues.

I’m guessing it has something to do with Outlook thinking that my website is spoofing the domain name or something, but honestly MX / mail server stuff is not my specialty so I’m hunting in the dark.

Any recommendations here?
