Product Card Aspect Ratio Settings GONE

If I go to Appearance > Customize > Under Woocommerce click on Product Archives > and then Card Options… I do not have any settings to change the product cards aspect ratios! It’s currently in a portait ratio (3:4) and I want to change it to a 1:1 ratio… is anyone else experiencing this? Or has this setting gone somewhere else?

From what I gather, a setting for changing to 1:1 ratio was there, and nowhere to be found now. Correct?

To get an idea of how your site is configured, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status, as exemplified here?

Furthermore, can you please share a screenshot of what you see at that screen? That will help us understand the issue. Here’s how to make a screenshot:

It must have been … to explain, I am using a Starter Theme from Blocksy (Creative Themes – which I’ve used before and haven’t experienced this problem until now) which has a basic mockup of a few products on WOO. Obviously in their demo mockup, they had set the Aspect ratio as it stands now but I don’t see why these settings have vanished to configure. As mentioned, I’ve used the exact same theme and Starter site before and I’ve had no problems.

Okay so… as an experiment, I migrated a WP site that also uses Blocksy (exactly the same as the site in my original post except fully developed) which had pending updates for the plugins and theme, ie: all plugins and theme weren’t updated to the latest.

Before updating all, I checked to see if the Aspect Ratio setting for Product Cards was available within Customize and it was there.

Then I updates all plugins to the latest and the theme and the Aspect Ratio setting disappeared! So this is an update bug in my opinion. Of which update, I don’t know, so tomorrow I will restart and repeat the experiment again but will check which update (Plugin / theme) is causing this setting to disappear.

It looks like the “Product Archives > Cards” setting you are referring to within the customizer is either added by your current theme, Blocksy, or another plugin, as this option is not default to WooCommerce core.

On my test site, when using the default Storefront theme, the only option for adjusting the aspect ratio is within Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Images:

On my test site, when using the default Storefront theme, the only option for adjusting the aspect ratio is within Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Images.

I don’t have this setting at all, only:

Customizer > WooCommerce > General
Customizer > WooCommerce > Product Archives
Customizer > WooCommerce > Single Product

 as this option is not default to WooCommerce core

Aggghhhh I feel like an idiot, so I finally found the setting by fiddling around a bit more, and it had been moved under PRODUCT IMAGE as in the screenshot attached in the link below:
