A client has asked me to create a site. It’s a drop shipping side for a local company.
They have supplied me a csv file from the supplier.
Trouble is all the products variants are listed as separate products identified by their unique sku but with no variable variant parent/child the only way to spot the variants is the identical product distribution column.
When I manually create a product listing with variants and export it to csv theres no sku for the parent product to identify the child sku’s for stock and price updates.
How do I make this work?
There are over 8,000 products including the many variants so quite a task
Any help advice on this will be so much appreciated I have been stuck on this one for weeks.
The easiest way I could think of: ChatGPT/other AI. you will need a few tries, but once you’ve done it you won’t have to edit the CSV manually even once
