I understand your concern about the obsolete version of eduma/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php.
Looking at what you’ve shared, it seems like the eduma theme is what has not been updated to the latest version. In order to further understand the issue, could you please confirm the version of WooCommerce you are using in your store?

If you check the GitHub files here, you can see that on 9.1, this was updated. Here’s the 9.0.2 version for comparison.
Since this version was just released, not all documentation was updated yet.
Is you theme updated? If it is, have you reached out to its support about this?
