I do marketing for a company who uses wordpress to market their product. Before I was hired, they brought in a team to design their website. This team used a custom plug-in to demonstrate and feature their products. Per Yoast SEO, Google doesn’t recognize the content this plug-in provides, which includes actual tons of literature on content for each individual product.
I am afraid this is affecting its SEO visibility and performance. Has anyone ever seen this before? Are there alternatives for marketing such a site outside of landing pages that use custom plugins?
