Some time ago, I created a website for a client. I am not a web designer by profession, I am a student and used to do this on the side. My former client contacted me today letting me know his site is down. I’m not paid to manage it, but he’s my friend’s dad so I told him I’d look into it.
Turns out it’s due to Cloudways invoice being unpaid. More than 14 days, so cloudways backups have been deleted. **Here is my question:** **when I made the site for client, I used a plugin called UpdraftPlus (free version) which I used to download a backup to my Google Drive. My question is, should this be sufficient? Obviously, I know I’ll have to bind the Elementor Pro license again, but whatt I’m askingg is, for those of you with experience with UpdraftPlus (free version), do those free backups alone contain everything?**
It’ll be a day or two before I can go about trying to restore it from my backup. I guess I just want to know what I’m in for, because again, seeing as this former client is my best friend’s dad, it kind of makes things a bit more complicated, I am nervous…
