I've been learning web design and WordPress for a couple of years with knowledge of PHP Javascript and CSS. I'm located outside USA.
Trying to work as freelancer, I enquired about pricing and how to best price web design work and websites. I placed some ads online, built some sample websites and tried to reach or contact clients but haven't been able yet to find good clients or close deals.
I've heard or read that on platforms like Fiverr there is a lot of competition with some web designers asking low prices or with low paying clients.
This question was perhaps asked here, but what do you think are the best ways to find good paying clients, and do you think that a platform like Upwork is good or suitable to advance one's career, become more experienced, find good paying clients and earn money?
