Question re: WP Bakery Post Editor Functions

[ad_1]

We seem to have an issue with our ‘Post’ page content editor and I’m not sure how to proceed:

\- The editor functions to adjust vertical spacing and font height/format are technically visible but they don’t seem to always do what you select them to do. For example, we adjust vertical spacing by 1 step/level but instead we go from 1.0 line spacing to what looks like 2.5/3.0x.

\- Likewise we see lots of text format and font size options but they don’t seem to track. For example if we’re writing in size 16 but then change to 18 for a sub-header, the change is more like going from 16 to 24 or 30.

The net result is that our posts are being forced to look ‘clunky’ and basic.

I’ve asked our dev. guy about it but so far all he’s proposed is that we update the version of WPBakery we’re using to the current one and to see if that fixes it. (I don’t disagree that we should update the version but am skeptical that it’ll have any impact on the editor issues we’re having).

Have tried to speak with WPBakery about it but no luck….just directed to their knowledge archive.

Any perspective appreciated and thanks in advance very much.
