Hello, I have a woocommerce WordPress website hosted by dreamhost on a shared server. I’m using caching , a CDN (quic.cloud) , increased WordPress memory limit to 700M , I tried using page and image optimization however it turned my website into pure writing and my layout and heading, and product pictures disappeared So I don’t use that now. How many plugins are to many? I currently have 68 active plugins and no inactive plugins. When I type my website url into safari it takes about 10 seconds to fully load everything on the homepage.Any advice? Tips? Any advice would be much appreciated!
(Please keep in mind I’m completely new to this , I don’t know what I’m doing at all and have no experience with developing, building a website.)
Question- slow website

I would hazard a guess that those plugins may be a factor in slowing down the site, as well as the shared hosting. There’s only so far that shared hosting can take you. There’s a website called GTmetrix that can analyze the site and isolate some resources that are slowing everything down. Often, plugins introduce some off-site loading that can cause issues for your site. Or there are long-running JavaScript resources, even possible PHP coding issues.
