As a developer that already knows how to use html, php, css, js, etc I recently got into wordpress. And I like it a lot.
Started working with custom themes, because considering my background that makes sense.
I just saw some video about FSE and that kind of opend my eyes. Made me think of all those design apps people use like Figma or XD. That would really speed up the process.
But I was wondering. People that use this that know how to code also: don’t you feel like you’re ‘losing control’ a little bit? Or do you still use code in combination with FSE?
Also, if you have a client that is not too tech savvy, is it a good idea to let him or her edit content this way?
Curious to hear experiences before diving into this!
