Questions on recurring donation monitoring

[ad_1]

Hi @shawnnjh,
Glad you reached out, these are great questions. You are asking about a couple of GiveWP’s paid add-ons, and I’m not able to support those here. I’d recommend heading over to givewp.com/priority-support/ and creating a ticket with our Priority Support team. They’ll be able to hop in and give you all the information you need.

In the meantime, I can give you a little information here to help get you started.

1. We don’t have an option for setting start/end dates for subscriptions just yet. Those are very popular feature requests we are tracking here:
https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/subscription-start-dates
https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/subscription-end-dates-for-recurring-donations
I’m linking your ticket to both of those features so we can reach back out to update you. You can also use those links to follow our progress, or to provide additional information of your own.

2. GiveWP has a number of pretty fantastic email receipt options, including receipts for subscriptions. If you navigate to Donations > Settings > Emails, you’ll find headings for Donor Emails, Admin emails and more. GiveWP does offer a customizable subscription reminder email, and that would be a good fit for what you are looking for.

3. Funds and Designations will not filter out forms that have hit their goal, but you can opt to “close” a donation form once the goal has been achieved. You can find the setting for that by navigating to Donations > All Forms > click to edit the form of your choice > Donation Goal (tab on the left hand side).

4. Funds and Designations won’t open or close a form, it’s more for creating sub-categories. I think what you are looking for would be best suited as a feature request, I’m not entirely sure we have a good fit for closing and re-opening forms at the moment. This would be a great question to follow up with Priority Support about, to see if we can get you a little closer to this functionality, or if we need to work up a feature request.

I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved, and we’ll keep an eye out for you over in Priority Support. Have a great day!
