r/webdev seems to hate WordPress.

I love the content they provide from time to time in regards to different libraries, tools, and CSS tricks. But I just can’t get over the fact that so many people there hate WordPress. It’s like half the complaints are from people who have never put the time and effort into actually understanding what can be done with WordPress.

When you car shop, you can pick a Honda, a Ford, a Chevy, or anything exotic. They all do the same thing. They drive. Can’t we all just understand there are 100s of ways to accomplish the same thing? Isn’t that what programming is all about?
