I inherited a website with a custom theme which has been running fine with no major issues for about a year now.
Earlier today it was reported that the website was displaying the ‘Error Establishing A Database Connection’ message which I was unaware of. The site eventually was able to reconnect to the DB again on it’s own.
The host said that there was nothing in the error logs and that it’s most likely a theme or plugin issue.
How would you troubleshoot this?
