Soo, started a new wordpress site with a free template recently and have been looking into improving the “default” 55-60 rating from Pagespeed Insights, and after trying out W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache and Litespeed Cache, only the Litespeed cache plugin managed to increase the sites performance (confirmed by Pingdom as well).
Fastest Cache improved the numbers slightly, whereas W3 totally ruined the score to some 40-ish.
Has anyone else had such experience so far?
Also regarding LiteSpeed cache, I’ve been reading trough it and it seems that it checks whether the request comes from a bot/crawler and somehow manages to do some magic into “tricking” it. This is the Guest Optimization setting. How reliable is this for high traffic website ?
