Rebuilding a website | WordPress.org

I have an existing website with a few hundred pages I’m rebuilding from scratch, using a temporary URL so the old version can remain live during the process. WP will be set to discourage search engines on the site with the temporary URL until it’s switched over to the permanent URL, replacing the old site.

I’m not sure how to proceed with Rank Math in this scenario. Do I set it up at the outset on the site with the temporary URL, so that as I build pages it can guide me on structuring of those pages? Or should I build all the web pages without Rank Math, then switch to the permanent URL, install Rank Math, and go back through the pages to fix up their SEO characteristics?
