It will link to the parent post of the recipe. You can check what that parent post is on the WP Recipe Maker > Manage page. Is it correct there?
When you save a post it looks for any recipes inside and associate itself as being the parent. So to change the parent post, try saving what should be the parent.
You can also try using the “Find Parents” button on the WP Recipe Maker > Tools page.
If I understand you correctly below is a screenshot on the Manage page and is the same when I use Tools-> Find parents. I believe it is set up correctly.

There is no parent post set for those recipes, so there is nothing for the roundup item to link to. Therefore no button shows up.
How are you adding recipes to posts? Using these methods should work:
I use the insert Roundtable. I use an existing recipe. Its insets the block but not the button. I don’t want to insert the whole recipe as the entire things like when you select WPRM Recipe.
So if I use the method in the link you supplied above it creates the entire recipe and not the little card like above.

Sure, that’s the roundup part. But a roundup item will link to the post where you’ve inserted the full recipe. If there is no post that has the full recipe, there is nothing to link to. Got it. Basically had to make the recipe post public. Now it works.
