A while back I posted about a site I lost (long story involving changing hosts and many screw ups by many people along the way). Fortunately, the site was backed up by the WayBack Machine so the stuff that was published was recoverable, but I feared all the half written stuff was lost.
I was just going through some old apps I never used on my phone to make some space on it, and I discovered that all the backend stuff for the now empty domain is still there.
Does anybody know how to extract this data? I did think that I’d install a fresh WP on the domain where it is now and try to get the app to populate that, but I’m concerned the empty site may overwrite the data on the phone instead. What are my options to recover all of this data?
