dear WordPress-friends and experts
just some thougths of the debugging of a site that hat some annoying errors – some times! one of my wordpress-installations had issues for some times: every user was redirected to the so called my\_account\_page:
note: this is the my\_account-page: (more precisely : the \[woocommerce\_my\_account\]
**the setup:**
WordPress
plugins: Wp-Jobmanager,
woocommerce and some others
**note:** as i think i found a first and quick (dirty) solution i want to say thanks to you – and probably this might help others too.
**Note2**: i googled and found that such cases were found in the net many times. so i guess this is a issue some folks are struggling with.
**background and full story**: i have encountered a so called “redirect \[to a\] Login to WooCommerce “My account” Page
every time this process landed on the woocommerce myaccount page :: so it redirects to wp-login.php or in other words to page to the WooCommerce “My account” page: and this effect was combined with the fact that i often got the blank page with the error – “too many redirects” – “plz erase your cookies”. That was the error i encountered several months.
**some questions were:**
* a. is this normal – is this necessary?
* b. can i customize the site-behaviour somehow?
* c. does a plain vanilla WordPress-install come up with such a behaviour?
well i have **read the folloing;**
sometimes on wordpress there is an automate redired that the site visitor is being redirected to the WordPress login page to the WooCommerce “My account” page, so that it is somewhat a standardize the way everyone logs in to my site (!?)
**my guess**: guess that this has to do with a woocommerce-configuration-thing:
can i configure the site so that i get rid of the redirects? Is this possible – and where in the WordPress-Dashboard can i set this!? I wondered if there is anyway to remove this functionality as it isn’t right for my site.
**fist attempt**: Solution I have found a solution ( at least for me ) i switched off the woocommere-plugin: i guess that this helped a bit:
Any thoughts much appreciated.
look forward to hear form you
