Removing /wp-admin from URL

[ad_1]

Hi!

Does anyone know how you can remove wp-admin from the URL of a WordPress site once logged in.

**We’ve changed the login URL** but have also been asked to remove it from the URL once logged in. Not something we’ve been asked before.

e.g. once logged in and looking at a site you might have a URL like this – [www.thisisawebsite.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post\_type=page])

Can we remove /wp-admin/ and change it to something else?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  1. You can use the plugin “perfmatters” to do that. It also performs a large number of other page speed related functions
