I guys, I have a question: I have an existing old wp website that is in the domain root folder which I wish to replace with a redesign website that I created and that is currently in a subfolder (public_html/redesign). Which is the best way to replace the old with the new website manually, without plugin and replacing URL redirect to not lose SEO?
Do I need to make any changes to the database? saw some tutorial that show some options, but are all so different from each other! Some of these videos say that you have to delete the old site, and copy only htaccess and index.php in the root, only with this procedure when you enter your wordoress admin you have to enter the path with the subfolder and this is something I don’t want .
