Replacing Thrive Themes – How To Do It?

[ad_1]

I’ve been using thrive theme builder, thrive themes, and the thrive leads plugins for over 5 years now. I have over 200 posts, many pages and a fairly well trafficed site. I want to move away from Thrive due to numerous reasons–slow loading pages, recent security vulnerabilities that I don’t think they have a handle on. I want a lightweight theme–Generate Press looks like a decent option–but wondering what is the best way to do a migration like this? Would it involve having to re-generate each post one by one? Do you just set up a staging site to make all the changes and push over to replace site when done? Also, is there a good replacement for the leads plugin from thrive? Thanks
