Request for help; email not working properly and website down suddenly?

[ad_1]

Hey reader,

I appreciate it if you can help me. I’ve been struggling with problems with my website for 2 weeks now. I’ve contacted wordpress’ help and titan (the email service for wordpress), with no results.

In short: I only receive gmail based emails and wordpress mails on my personal domain email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), I can send emails without problems. But suddenly my site is down too.

I’ll sketch my problems here and try to give as much information as possible. Thank you for your time. Here we go…

I have bought my domain on Versio 2 months ago, since it’s a .nl domain and wordpress doesn’t support it from their own service. No problem, linked it to wordpress after buying their premium package. Site was online for a few weeks. No problems.

Linked the wordpress integrated website to microsoft’s email service. Weird, I don’t receive mails except from Gmail accounts. Canceled the Microsoft 365 service and switched to WordPress’ titan service, the dns/mx records changed automatically, received some basic emails so should be fine. This is 10 days ago so it should be propagated.

The website doesn’t have any special theme, it was a basic blank welcome page.

Still can’t receive any emails except from gmail accounts. I use my hotmail and student mails daily so the emails work fine, it’s not in my spam/junk etc box, deleted my cache from all emails so the mx records should be refreshed, waited a week, checked the dns propagation on websites, created new accounts, asked colleagues for emails, etc. Nothing works. Feel like I read all forum posts, nothing helped.

I used to be able to send mails from my email adress [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), not anymore since my site is down suddenly?!? I never changed anything to do with hosting. Paid for a whole year so that’s not it.

Here’s my DNS records:

Feel like I’m in a bad prank TV show. I’m trying to help my dad out with his business. Hope someone can help me. Willing to provide as much info as you need.

– Stijn.
