Reset destroyed my staging site access

[ad_1]

Now that we know there is more that should NOT be removed besides the user items. So, which of these SHOULD be removed?

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your issue 🙁

The only thing I can think of that would cause the “Could not connect to database” error would be that the reset actually failed and the default tables have not been restored. You can try going over your server’s error log and check if there are any errors around the time you performed the reset.

You can try going to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/install.php and see if you can reinstall WordPress as that would also restore tables to default.

But since it’s a staging website it might be simpler to just delete it and recreate it from your hosting panel.
