Responsive font sizing when moving away from page builders

[ad_1]

Hey there, I've been building a couple of sites as a beginner with Elementor and I've tried pretty much every other page builder out there that is available for testing. Overall I stuck to Gutenberg blocks themes because it's free and works well, no recurring costs for my customers and me having to chase the yearly fees.

One thing that does bother me is that I have issues with font sizing (wanting more customization) of designs with some blocks themes desktop vs mobile.

Can you suggest any plugin, tutorial or feature that might empower a beginner builder to keep away from temptation to fall back to these paid editors? Building my own themes and blocks will need some time, so I am just looking for a quick solution to this instead of having to duplicate and disable elements for different devices. Also margin/padding/line height sometimes is not so great…

Thanks a lot and sorry if this is a stupid question…

  1. The controls you get depend entirely on what theme you’re using. The basic 2024 theme gives you some but other fuller featured themes like GenerateBlocks, Kadence, etc provide more customisation.
