Return to Media Selection

Is there a way or a plugin to return to the selected media in the media dialog.

Here is an example, I have a post with a custom field type Media. I select a media and save the post. Now I would like to add a description to this media file, I reclick on Choose Media. But it does not show by default what was the selected file.

Am I the only one that finds this incredibly annoying? This makes things like using Replace Media or adding Media Taxonomy incredibly difficult.

(Im talking about the Media Upload, not the Media library)
