A client’s site had two spam donations make it through reCAPTCHA and Stripe’s defenses today. Possibly a real person was on the other end?
Anyhow, after discussing this with my client we agreed to refund the money. My question here is what’s the end-result difference between refunded and revoked? Does revoking a donation also refund that donation? Should I revoke a spam donation after refunding it?
All I could find in GiveWP documentation is this:
- Refunded — You can set this status to issue the donor a refund. Some Gateways may require additional action to be taken on their platform.
- Revoked — You can deny donations with this status.
Thanks!
